Run a retro in seconds
Pick the path that fits — post anonymously with a shareable code, or link a Jira sprint for automatic action-item carryover.
No Jira needed
Quick anonymous retro
A shareable code, no sign-in, no names on cards — works even if Jira isn't connected.
1
Create a retro
From the home page's Sprint Retro tile, click Create a Retro and give it a name.
2
Share the code
You'll get a 6-character code (e.g.
AB3X7K). Anyone with it can join and post — no account required.3
Post cards anonymously
Add cards to What Went Well, What Can Be Improved, or Action Items. Nothing on a card is tied to who posted it.
4
Upvote & reorder
Click ▲ to upvote a card — click again to remove your own upvote. Anyone can drag cards up or down within a column.
5
Export to PDF
Click Export PDF for a plain bulleted list grouped by column — ready to save or share.
Jira-linked
Link to a Jira sprint
Auto-carries over last sprint's Action Items — no per-user Jira sign-in needed to use it.
1
Open the Jira-linked view
From the home page's Sprint Retro tile, click Link to a Jira sprint.
2
Pick your board & sprint
Choose your Jira board, then the sprint you're retro-ing on, from the dropdowns at the top.
3
See carried-over action items
The previous sprint's Action Items show up automatically in a read-only panel at the top.
4
Post & collaborate live
Same anonymous posting, upvoting, and reordering as the quick path — everyone sees updates in real time.
5
One-time setup, done by an admin
If you see a banner saying retro isn't connected to Jira yet, an admin needs to visit
/auth/atlassian/service/login once — individual participants never need to sign in.
